  1. Terry Burns

Noel Martin has succeeded in achieving one of the goals of memoir; he reveals a way of life and experiences that are unique, signicant and intriguing, while at the same time evoking a sense of camaraderie and fellow feeling in the reader. A charming, thoughtful and very readable tale.

  2. Harvey Layden, Ottawa

WOW…WOW…WOW. I honestly couldn’t put it down. The book is in my honest view a best seller on any book store shelf. It is professional in every aspect – content, organization, structure, excitement, suspense, sincerity, humour, extremes of happiness and sadness sensitivity surprises, emotion…I could go on and on. Even the covers (front and back) were especially appropriate and attention grabbing. It has that distinctive grab me’ look. To me it goes well beyond being an autobiography, but full of life lessons that any family could learn from.

  3. Shirley Loveless, Lewisporte, Newfoundland

An amazing read. Thank you Noel Martin for sharing some of your life experiences and treasures with us. I cried, I laughed and I take away a sense of pride in the man that you became and the love that you shared and gave to everyone.
